About Us
Racing for a Reason is a 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 1997 by Ray Evernham. The idea for the foundation came after his own son Ray J was diagnosed with Leukemia. The foundation supports The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and many other charitable organizations and efforts at national and grassroots levels through four core approaches; horsepower, education, health and entertainment.
